WEICON Repair Stick Wood
Application: WEICON Repair Stick Wood is suitable for permanent and residual elastic, non-shrinking repairs of wooden parts. For repairing cracks, bore holes, broken and broken pieces of wood and for sealing joints on window and door frames, veneers, boards and planks, model buildings and wooden toys. WEICON Repair Stick Wood can be used in the wood and furniture industry, in model making and in many other areas.
Properties: The pasty epoxy resin (mineral filled) has a temperature resistance from -50 C to +120 C (short: up to +150 C) and a processing temperature from +10 C to +40 C. The curing temperature varies between +6 C and +40 C with a pot life of only 15 minutes (with 25g. preparation and +20 C). The adhesive achieves its manual strength (35%) after 45 minutes, mechanical strength (50%) after 60 minutes and final hardness (100% strength) after 24 hours. In the case of larger batch quantities, faster curing occurs due to the typical reaction heat of epoxy resins (exothermic reaction). The compressive load corresponds to 75N|mm with a gap overhang of up to max. 15mm. The shrinkage is linear and is less than 1%.
